Ann Saterbak is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Bioengineering at Rice University, and is a co-author of ''Bioengineering Fundamentals''. Saterbak holds a B.A. in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry, (1990) from Rice University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, (1995) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Saterbak is a recipient of the Robert G.
